Port – respectively Port.de – is a Technology and Service Provider for PROFINET and other protocols. We deliver Protocol Libraries, so called "Stacks" and Engineering Services around Industrial Communication. The PROFINET Stack enables the customer’s device to “speak” PROFINET.
 

Our USP is not only to deliver the Protocol Stack but as well the adaptation to the specific target. Our delivery represents a Device-Kit – a fully functional PROFINET Device with all needed accompanying software on a specific target.

The Toolchain represents another added value – our Industrial Communication Creator ICC is used to configure the Protocol Stack – this configuration is being stored, documented and archived. This configuration the configures the Protocol Stack, creates the applications stubs and creates the GSDML.

Our Industrial Communication Explorer ICE helps the engineers to run first tests for the newly created device by providing a simple PROFINET Master functionality for troubleshooting.
